Features

Built for Performance

18–22 Forming Stations

Depending on the selected profile, the Single-Layer Roll Former uses 18–22 forming stations. Using more stations allows the material to be formed more gradually through the machine, helping produce a better finished panel while reducing the potential for oil canning and edge wave.

Pre-shear cutting

The pre-shear can be used to cut the final piece before it enters the forming stations, helping reduce material waste at the end of a run. During normal production, panels are typically cut with the post-shear after they have been fully formed, helping ensure the finished panel maintains the correct shape.

Computerized batching, in inches

The controller stores cut lists by length and quantity and reads out in inches and feet. Load a job of 40 panels at 14 ft 6 in, press start, and the machine runs it. E-stops and protective covers over the drive and shear are standard.

Manual Decoiler Included

A 10,000 lb (5-ton) manual decoiler is included with the machine, providing a dependable solution for handling coils during production. A hydraulic decoiler with coil car is available as an optional upgrade.

Single-Layer Roll Former Spec Sheet

  • Frequently Asked Questions:

How much does a Single-Layer Roll Former cost?

Pricing depends on the selected profile and the customer's specifications, options, and equipment configuration. Request a quote and the Roll Worx team will provide a customized quote within 48 hours.

What gauge can a Single-Layer Roll Former run?

Gauge capabilities depend on the selected profile and customer specifications. The Single-Layer Roll Former can be configured for our available profiles and typically runs material from 29–24 gauge, depending on the profile.

How long does it take to make a panel?

A 20-foot panel takes roughly 20 to 30 seconds from coil to stack. Batch mode allows the machine to run a full cut list efficiently.

Should I buy a machine or keep buying panels?

If you are buying more than a few thousand square feet a month, running your own panels can reduce material costs, eliminate supplier lead times, and give you greater control over production. The benefits can increase if you already sell trim, screws, and installation.

How is the Single-Layer Roll Former configured for my operation?

The machine is configured around the panel profile and production requirements you select. Roll Worx will work with you to determine the appropriate profile, forming stations, electrical configuration, and available options for your operation.

Does Roll Worx offer training and setup?

Yes. Startup, setup, and operator training are included with the machine.
